Kaikoura is a small town on the east coast of the south island of New Zealand. Its special location and the upwelling currents sustain an abundance of marine life. The coastlines are covered by fur seals, the bay is patrolled by albatrosses and pods of dusky dolphins, while huge sperm whales feed just a few kilometers away from the shore. Those images document the most memorable encounters during our three day stay in this region.
